Chess Wall Art

Chess Wall Art

Chess wall art here is the game as pictures: gold and silver kings, a red queen, pawns, a rook tower and fallen kings, with a black chessboard in one title and a close-up in another. Each one is made to hang, printed to order, and none of them is a set to play with.

Chess Board Wall Art: Pictures To Hang, Not A Board To Play On

Everything in this collection is a picture of chess made for a wall. A chess board or a set of chess pieces is something you move, while a piece from here is something you hang. If you are shopping for a set to play with, this is the wrong place. If you want the game above a desk or a shelf, kings, a queen, pawns and a rook are pictured here.

Chess Piece Wall Art In Gold And Silver For A Study

Golden King with Pawns and Gold and Silver Chess Closeup are two gold pieces, and the second title adds silver. Gold goes well beside brass lamps, walnut shelves and a leather chair, which makes a study or a den a fitting home for either one. For a room of gray walls and chrome fixtures, the closeup's silver is the link.

Fallen King Chess Art: Which Scene To Choose

Pawn and Fallen King, Fallen White King Chess Scene and Gold King Victorious Over Fallen Silver King each show a king that has fallen. Each suits a wall where the game is already part of the room, such as above a games table, a desk or a bookcase. Hang one alone, or pair two at the same height with a few inches between them, and keep the third for another wall.

Red Queen Chess Wall Art For A Plain Wall

For a plain wall, Red Queen Chess Composition brings a red queen into the room. Hang it on a white, cream or gray wall, and keep any gold pieces on another wall so the red stands alone. It also comes in panoramic, a long, low shape for a console or a shelf.

Blue Backlit Chess Pieces For A Game Room

Blue Backlit Chess Pieces is a blue, backlit picture of chess pieces, so it fits a room that already carries blue. Navy walls, a blue rug or a gray sofa with blue cushions all give it something to answer. A game room with a chess table is the place for it.

Two Kings On A Black Chessboard Above A Chess Table

Two Kings on Black Chessboard puts two kings on a black chessboard, so it is the one to hang above a chess table. Center it on the table so the picture and the real board line up. Panoramic is offered too, a long shape that follows the width of a low table.

Chess With A Faded World Map For A Home Office

Chess with Faded World Map puts chess together with a world map, faded as its title says. A study with a globe or an atlas on the shelves goes well beside it, and a home office wall works too. For maps without chess, from single cities to whole countries, see the city and country map art collection.

A Rook Tower With A Bitcoin Emblem Beside A Desk

Rook Tower with Bitcoin Emblem pairs the rook, the tower piece, with a Bitcoin emblem; a home office or a spot beside a desk gives it a fitting home. It also sits in the Bitcoin wall art collection, where circuit boards, golden coins and globes carry the same subject. For stone castles instead of the game piece, the castle wall art collection has them.

What Size Chess Wall Art Fits Above A Desk, Games Table Or Sectional?

Measure the furniture first, then aim for about two thirds to three quarters of its width. Above a 54 inch desk, Golden King with Pawns at 36 x 24 inches covers about 67 percent of the width. Above a 36 inch games table, the 24 x 24 inch square of Chess with Faded World Map covers about 67 percent. Above an 84 inch sectional, Two Kings on Black Chessboard in panoramic at 60 x 20 inches covers about 71 percent.

How Each Piece Is Made

Printing starts once your order is placed. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, and canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang. Delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order, shipping is free, and returns run 30 days from delivery.

Common Questions

What Is A Good Gift For Someone Who Loves Chess?

Chess wall art makes a gift that adds to a board or set rather than repeating it, since it goes on the wall instead of the table. Choose by the picture, then check the shape against the wall it will hang on. Order at least two weeks before the date you need it.

What Is A Chess Lover Called?

A chess lover is commonly called a chess enthusiast, and someone who plays is a chess player. Either term works on a gift card or a caption. For wall art, the word matters less than the picture, so pick the one that matches the room it will hang in.

How To Display A Chess Board On A Wall?

Hang a chess board picture centered 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall, or 6 to 8 inches above a table or shelf so the two stay connected. A picture is simpler to hang than a real board. A real playing board is heavier, so use hooks or brackets rated for its weight.

Is There King And Queen Chess Wall Art?

Yes, in separate pictures. Kings appear in several titles here and a queen in another, so a king and a queen on one wall means two separate orders hung side by side at the same height, with a few inches between them.

Is There Chess Canvas Wall Art?

Yes, canvas prints of chess pieces and chess scenes are here, so you can pick the picture first. Each one is printed to order, so choose the shape that matches the wall it will hang on, and measure that wall before you order so the size fits the space you have.
