Oil Painting and Impasto Wall Art

Oil Painting and Impasto Wall Art

Oil painting wall art here means oil and impasto paintings reproduced as prints. The subjects are poppy and floral bouquets, gardens and meadows, autumn forests, Venetian scenes, a harbor, a rain soaked city and an acoustic guitar, plus swirls and crimson motion with no subject at all.

Visible Brushwork On A Flat Print

Every piece here is a print of a painting, so you see the brushwork rather than touch it. In impasto the paint goes on thick, and each pass of the brush or palette knife leaves a ridge with a small shadow beside it. That brush texture shows in the picture, while the print surface is a flat canvas or flat paper.

Poppy And Floral Bouquets Laid On Thick

Bouquet titles name the flower or say floral. Impasto Poppy Bouquet and Impasto Red Poppy Bouquet gather poppies, Impasto Floral Bouquet leaves the flowers unnamed, and Poppy Grid Oil Painting sets its poppies in rows. Hang a bouquet over a dining sideboard or a hall table. Poppy fields are in the poppy field wall art collection, and other blooms in the flower wall art collection.

Gardens, Meadows And A Mountain Sunrise In Paint

For a wider scene than a bouquet, turn to gardens and meadows. Impasto Sunflower Garden and Impasto Floral Garden name a garden, Seaside Floral Oil Painting puts flowers by the sea, and Impasto Meadow Landscape and Wildflower Meadow Oil Painting open onto a meadow. Impasto Mountains at Sunrise names the peaks and the hour, a pick for a sunroom.

Autumn Forests And A Woodland Path In Oil

These titles carry the season, so start here for a fall wall. Autumn Forest Oil Painting and Autumn Trees Oil Painting are woodland scenes, Autumn Forest Reflection Oil Painting adds a reflection, Autumn Woodland Path Oil Painting follows a path, and Autumn Waterfall Oil Painting adds falling water. The fall wall decor collection has the season in other styles.

Venice, A Harbor And A Seascape In Oil

Venetian Canal Oil Painting and Venetian Sunset Oil Painting are set in Venice, and the Venice wall art collection has gondolas and city maps in other styles. Harbor Oil Painting and Sunset Boat at Jetty Oil Painting stay near the shore, and Flowing Seascape Oil Painting turns to the sea itself. A harbor or a seascape belongs in a study or a bathroom.

Rain Soaked Streets For A Narrow Hallway Wall

Rain Soaked Cityscape Oil Painting shows a city in the rain, and Rainy Evening Couple Oil Painting names a couple on a rainy evening. Rain Soaked Cityscape comes in Portrait, the upright shape: on a hallway wall 30 inches wide, a 20 x 40 inch portrait covers about 67 percent of the width.

An Acoustic Guitar And A Painter's Paint Tubes

Moody Acoustic Guitar Oil Painting pictures the instrument, for a music room, a den or the wall above a record shelf, and the music wall art collection adds violins and trumpets. Impasto Paint Tubes makes a painter's materials the subject, a choice for a craft room or a home studio.

Swirls, Sunfire And Crimson Motion With No Subject

For a modern living room, choose a piece where the paint is the subject. Impasto Color Swirl Abstract turns color into a swirl, Crimson Impasto Motion names crimson and movement, Sunfire Impasto Abstract names sun and fire, and Bold Impasto Geometry builds its strokes into shapes. Large Oil Painting Wall Art For A Living Room Or Bedroom

Size a large oil painting from the furniture under it, at about two thirds to three quarters of its width. Over a 76 inch sofa, a 54 x 36 inch landscape covers about 71 percent, a scale for Venetian Sunset Oil Painting. Above a 68 inch dresser, a 48 x 16 inch panoramic covers about 71 percent, and Sunset Boat at Jetty Oil Painting is offered in that long shape. Above a 52 inch console table, a 36 x 36 inch square covers about 69 percent, a size for Autumn Woodland Path Oil Painting. Hang the bottom edge 6 to 8 inches above the furniture.

How Each Piece Is Made

Nothing is printed until you order. For oil painting canvas art, archival inks go onto museum-quality canvas, which is stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and arrives ready to hang. A Poster Print comes unframed and does not arrive ready to hang.

Common Questions

Are These Oil Paintings Or Prints?

They are prints, not paintings. Each piece is printed after you order it, at the size you pick, from a picture in an oil or impasto style, so no brush touches the piece you receive. For a one-off canvas painted by an artist, look to a gallery or an artist's studio.

Where Can I Buy Oil Painting Wall Art Near Me?

Order it here online and it comes to your door, with no shop to visit. Each piece is printed to order and shipped from within your region, shipping is free, and delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order. You have 30 days from delivery to return it.

How Big Can Oil Painting Wall Art Get?

The largest landscape size is 60 x 40 inches, five feet across. A square reaches 48 x 48 inches, an upright portrait 30 x 60 and a long panoramic 60 x 20. Not every picture is made in every shape, so check the shape you want on the product page before you measure.

Is There Framed Oil Painting Wall Art?

Yes, in two ways. Framed Canvas puts the stretched canvas inside a frame, and Framed Print mounts the picture behind a white mat within a frame. Both come ready to hang, and the product page shows the price of each finish at every size before you add it to your cart.

Is There Black Or Blue Oil Painting Wall Art?

Yes, a few titles name those colors. Impasto Swirl Circles in Yellow and Black sets black against yellow, and Impasto Waterfall in Blue and Purple pairs blue with purple. Melting Green Impasto Abstract names green instead. A piece with no color in its title can still hold any of them, so open the product page to see it.
