Vermont Wall Art

Vermont Wall Art

Vermont wall art in this collection centers on lakes and autumn countryside: Lake Champlain at sunrise and sunset, Chittenden Lake, Lake Iroquois and a barn by a pond, plus a Vermont map and the state flag. Choose by lake, season or wall, then pick a size that fits the furniture beneath it.

Lake Champlain Pieces For A Long Wall

Lake Champlain Sunrise with Heron and Lake Champlain Sunset show one lake at two ends of the day, which makes a pair for a kitchen or dining room. Champlain Bridge at Sunset adds a crossing to the view. Lake Champlain Sunset also comes in a panoramic shape, and above a 70 inch console, the 48 x 16 panoramic covers about 69 percent of the width.

Chittenden Lake In Morning Mist And Autumn

Morning Mist Over Chittenden Lake and Autumn Morning at Chittenden Lake, Vermont are both named for Chittenden Lake. The first goes in a bedroom or reading corner, and the second brings in the season. Over a 78 inch sofa, the 54 x 36 size lands at about 69 percent of the sofa width.

Lake Iroquois And Lake Shaftsbury In Autumn

Autumn at Lake Iroquois and Lake Shaftsbury Autumn Reflection are the two autumn lake pieces named for those lakes. Either goes in a dining room or a living room with wood furniture. Above a 72 inch sideboard, the 48 x 32 size covers about 67 percent of the width.

Vermont Lake Reflection Pieces

Vermont Lake Reflection and Groton Lakehouse Reflection carry the word reflection in their titles, and Vermont Mountain Lake sits beside them as a third Vermont lake title. All three suit a wide wall above a bed or a long hallway bench. Vermont Lake Reflection is panoramic, the shape for a wall much wider than it is tall. For lakes from other states and countries, see our lake wall art collection.

Peacham Pasture And A Barn By A Pond

Peacham Autumn Pasture and Vermont Barn by Pond bring the farm side of the state to a wall. They fit a mudroom, a kitchen or a cabin-style living room. Vermont Autumn Mountain Forest is the mountain and forest view, with no farm named. On a 90 inch sofa, the 60 x 40 size of Peacham Autumn Pasture comes to about 67 percent of the width. More barns and fields from other places are in the farm field wall art collection.

Autumn Lake And Pasture Pieces

Several titles here name autumn outright, so they fit a room you want to match to the season. Titles that name sunrise, sunset or morning mist suit a bedroom or kitchen more than a season does, and the barn and map pieces fit any month. For autumn scenes beyond Vermont, browse the fall wall decor collection.

Vermont Map And Burlington Street Grid Wall Art

Vermont Map, Green Mountain State and Burlington Vermont Street Grid Map stand apart from the lake views. One shows the whole state, and the other shows one city laid out as a street grid. Either fits a home office or a hallway. Maps of other cities and states are in the city and country map art collection.

Vermont State Flag Wall Art

Vermont State Flag Wall Art is the flag of Vermont itself, separate from the lake and farm pieces. It comes in portrait as well as landscape, so it can go on a narrow stretch beside a door or at the end of a hall. Flags of other states and American-themed pieces are in the American flag and map art collection, and the United States wall art collection covers places across the country.

Hanging Height And Spacing

Hang the center of a piece 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. Above a sofa, bed or console, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge. Aim for a piece about two thirds to three quarters of the furniture width, which is how the size examples on this page were worked out. Poster Print arrives unframed, so plan for a frame or hanging hardware.

How Each Piece Is Made

Every piece is printed to order after you place your order. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame. Free shipping applies, delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order, and returns are open for 30 days from delivery. Orders ship from within your region.

Common Questions

What Is The 70/30 Rule In Art?

The 70/30 rule is a proportion guideline: about 70 percent of a picture or a room goes to one dominant element, color or area, and about 30 percent to a contrast. On a wall, it means letting one picture lead rather than splitting attention between several pieces of equal weight. Treat it as a starting point you can bend to your own taste.

Is There Ski Wall Art Among The Vermont Pieces?

No title here names skiing, a ski area or a ski trail. The pieces are lakes, autumn countryside, a barn, a state map, a city street map and the state flag. If ski art is what you want, this page is not the place to find it.

What Wall Art Is Popular Now?

No single piece is popular everywhere, and this page does not rank its pieces or call any of them trending. A steadier test is whether you would want to look at it every day, so pick the subject you like, a lake, a pasture or a map, and let the room come second. Your own taste is the better guide than any list of what is in fashion.

What Are Three Things Vermont Is Famous For?

This page does not rank what Vermont is famous for, but one title calls it the Green Mountain State, and the pieces here point to lakes, autumn and the state's own map and flag. If one of those matches a place you know, start there. Pick the subject first, then narrow it down by the wall you have in mind.

Which Town In Vermont Is Considered The Most Artsy?

No town is ranked here, because which Vermont town is the most artsy is a matter of opinion. The titles on this page do name real Vermont places, Burlington, Peacham and Groton among them, so if you have a favorite town, scan the product names for it. Where a title names no town, this page makes no claim about one.
