Mediterranean Wall Art

Mediterranean Wall Art

Mediterranean wall art here means the sea's own coast: Cinque Terre and Positano in Italy, the blue domes of Oia and windmills of Mykonos in Greece, Dubrovnik's old town, Maltese bays and shores from Albania to Lebanon. Choose by country or by light, golden hour, sunset or dusk, and each piece is printed after you order.

Italian Cliff Villages And Island Shores

Italy supplies the cliff villages, so choose by the coast you want on the wall. Manarola Cliffside Village and Manarola Cliffside, Cinque Terre belong to Cinque Terre; Positano, Amalfi Coast and Positano Cliffside, Amalfi Coast, to the Amalfi Coast. Colorful Portofino Harbor, Capri Island Coast and Maronti Beach on Ischia turn to harbors and island shores. The Italy wall art collection covers the rest of the country.

Blue Domes And Windmills On The Greek Islands

Greece brings blue domes and windmills, and the titles name the hour. Blue Dome Churches of Oia, Santorini and Oia Bell Tower, Santorini stay in the village, while Oia Sunset, Santorini and Ammoudi Bay Sunset, Oia move to the evening. Oia Windmills at Dusk, Kato Mili Windmills at Twilight and Mykonos Windmills at Sunset show one subject at three hours. For Santorini alone, see the Santorini wall art collection, and for the whole country, Greece wall art.

Dubrovnik, Hvar And Rovinj Along The Adriatic

Dubrovnik appears at several hours: Dubrovnik Old Town Sunset, Dubrovnik Old Port at Golden Hour and Fort Bokar at Sunset. Dubrovnik Old Town View names no hour and is offered as a panoramic, the pick for a long, low console. Rovinj Harbor at Sunset, Hvar Harbor Aerial View and the Cetina River mouth at Omiš continue along the Croatian coast, while Perast and Sveti Nikola Island at Budva sit farther south in Montenegro. Other Croatian places are in the Croatia wall art collection.

Albania's Coast From Saranda To Vlore

Albania continues the coast south of Montenegro. Saranda appears as a bay cityscape, a harbor view and a seaside view. Borsh Coastline, Albania and Vlore Coastal Cityscape follow the coast north, and Sunlit Albanian Coastline names the coast instead of a town, an easy choice for a room not tied to one place.

Maltese Bays And The Valletta Waterfront

Malta's pieces are Mellieha Bay at Dusk, the Anchor Bay sunset, Spinola Bay Light Trails and Valletta Waterfront Skyline. Their titles name dusk, sunset and light trails, so a deep navy or charcoal wall keeps the room in the evening. Valletta Waterfront Skyline is the city view among the bays. Other Maltese places are in the Malta wall art collection.

Beirut, Sfax And Cyprus In The East And South

Some pieces step outside Europe. Beirut Corniche Aerial View, Beirut Sunset Skyline and Sidon Sea Castle show the Lebanese coast as an aerial view, a sunset and a castle. Sfax Fishing Harbor shows Tunisia, Netanya Coastline at Golden Hour and Leptis Magna Coastal Ruins extend the eastern and southern shore, and Kyrenia Harbour at Sunset and Paphos Sunset are on Cyprus.

Barcelona, Palma And Gibraltar In The West

Barcelona from the Mediterranean, Cathedral of Santa Maria, Palma and Cap De Formentor Cliffs cover Spain. Barcelona from the Mediterranean is also offered as a square, a shape for the narrow wall between two doors. Rock of Gibraltar at Sunset marks the sea's western gate, and Monte Carlo at Dusk adds Monaco.

Terraces, A Watercolor Village And Maps For A Dining Room Or Study

Mediterranean Summer Terrace, Santorini Pool Terrace View and Rest Houses by the Sea belong in a dining room or sunroom, and Top-down Tabbouleh Salad in the kitchen. Mediterranean Hillside Watercolor Village is the title to pick when you want a watercolor village instead of a coastline. For a study or hallway, Vintage Roman Empire Map and Antique Map of Italy with Ornate Cartouche are titled vintage and antique, and Mediterranean Sea Shaded Relief Map shows the sea.

Large Mediterranean Wall Art For A Living Room Or Bedroom

Large Mediterranean wall art should span two thirds to three quarters of the width of the furniture below it. Above a 79 inch sofa in the living room, a 54 x 36 inch piece covers 68 percent. In the bedroom, Positano Cliffside, Amalfi Coast is offered as a panoramic, and its 48 x 16 inch size covers 69 percent of a 70 inch headboard. For Mediterranean framed wall art, choose a Framed Canvas or a Framed Print, the one with a white mat inside the frame.

How Each Piece Is Made

Mediterranean canvas wall art uses museum-quality canvas and archival inks, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, and a Poster Print comes with no frame. Canvas and framed pieces are ready to hang on arrival. Shipping is free, delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from your order day, and the 30-day return period begins on delivery.

Common Questions

What Does Mediterranean Wall Art Look Like?

It shows Mediterranean places: harbors, cliffside villages, coastlines, island views, sunsets and maps. Many titles name the time of day, such as sunset, dusk, twilight or golden hour, so you can choose by the light you want. Let one scene carry a wall and keep the rug and cushions beside it plain.

What Is Mediterranean Style Decorating?

It is a decorating style built around sunlit coastal homes: white or warm plaster-toned walls with sea blue and terracotta accents. Mediterranean style wall art for that room can picture a harbor or a village, hung as a single scene rather than a crowded display.

What Are Some Good Ideas For Mediterranean Home Design?

Start with one scene and one wall. Pick a village, harbor or coastline for a white or plaster-toned wall, hang it with the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor, and leave 6 to 8 inches between its bottom edge and any furniture below. Add a terracotta pot nearby instead of filling the wall.

Does Mediterranean Wall Art Work In A Modern Home?

Yes, when one scene carries the wall. A single coastline on a white or pale grey wall keeps the look modern, while a crowded wall of small pictures adds clutter. Choose a title named for dusk or twilight if the room is a dark one.

How Large Does Mediterranean Wall Art Go?

The largest sizes are 60 x 40 inches and 60 x 20 inches, each 60 inches wide, so a long wall has room for a large piece. Square pieces go up to 48 x 48 inches. A 60 x 40 inch piece covers 68 percent of an 88 inch sofa.
