Malta Wall Art

Malta Wall Art

Malta wall art here gathers Malta's coasts and its capital: the Azure Window at Dwejra, Valletta skylines and a street map, a village at Anchor Bay, Spinola Bay and Mellieha Bay. Each picture comes printed to order, so you can choose the size that fits your wall.

Coast, Capital And Bays

The collection has coast pictures, Valletta pictures and bay scenes. The Dwejra cliffs sunset, the Azure Window sunset and the village sunset at Anchor Bay are the coast group; the three Valletta pieces and the street map are the city group; Mellieha Bay and Spinola Bay are the bay scenes.

Dwejra Cliffs And The Azure Window At Sunset

Two pieces take you to the Dwejra coast at sunset. Dwejra Cliffs Sunset, San Lawrenz and Azure Window Sunset, Dwejra both come from the same stretch of coast. Hang one on its own beside a window, or place both on one long wall if you want that coast shown twice.

Valletta Skyline, Waterfront And Harbor Sketch

If your Malta connection is the capital, three pieces show Valletta in different ways. Valletta Skyline with Dome and Spire, Valletta Waterfront Skyline and Valette Harbor Sketch each give you a different way to hang the city. A study or hallway can hold the sketch, and a living room has space for a skyline above the sofa. Over a 72 inch sofa, a 48 x 32 inch piece covers about two thirds of the width.

A Valletta Street Map With Landmarks

Valletta Street Map with Landmarks suits a desk wall or a landing, anywhere you want a map of the capital within arm's reach. For other cities drawn this way, the city map wall art collection has street maps of many places.

Bay Scenes: Mellieha, Spinola And Anchor Bay

Mellieha Bay at Dusk and Spinola Bay Light Trails are bay scenes, and the village sunset at Anchor Bay joins them. All three can hang in a bedroom, a reading corner or a hallway. Because they share a coastal subject, you can group two of them on one wall and keep the third for another room.

Malta Canvas Wall Art Above A Sofa Or Console

Match the piece to the furniture below it: about two thirds to three quarters of its width looks balanced. Above a 66 inch console, a 48 x 32 inch piece is a comfortable fit at about 73 percent. Above a 48 inch dresser, a 36 x 24 inch piece lands at exactly three quarters.

A Panoramic Malta Piece For A Long Wall

A long wall above a low bench or a sideboard gives Mellieha Bay at Dusk room to stretch. Over a 70 inch sideboard, a 48 x 16 inch panoramic piece covers about 69 percent of the width. Leave 6 to 8 inches between the sideboard and the bottom edge of the piece.

Square Pieces For Narrow Spots

A square Azure Window or Valletta Waterfront Skyline can go between two windows or beside a doorway. Above a 36 inch console table, a 24 x 24 inch square covers about two thirds of the width and leaves clear wall on either side. Measure the free stretch of wall before you choose, and allow a few inches on each side.

Pairing Malta With Other Seaside And City Pieces

Malta pairs with other sea and city collections. For harbors and cliffs from other shores, see the coastal wall art collection. For the wider sea around Malta, the Mediterranean coast wall art collection brings in more harbors and coastal towns. For more cities, try city skyline wall art.

How Each Piece Is Made

Nothing is printed until you order it. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks stretched over a solid wooden inner frame. Pieces come as a Canvas Print, Framed Canvas or Framed Print, and many also as a Poster Print.

Common Questions

Where can I buy wall art prints of Malta?

You can order any Malta piece in this collection straight from its product page. Shipping is free and delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order, shipped from within your region. Returns run 30 days from delivery.

What size should Malta canvas wall art be?

Multiply the width of the furniture by 0.66 and by 0.75 to get your range. For a 90 inch sofa that is about 59 to 68 inches, so a 60 x 40 inch landscape fits (60 / 90 = 67%). Measure the sofa, bed or console first, then check the sizes on each product page.

Is there Malta wall art for a small wall?

Yes. The square shape starts at 8 x 8 inches and the landscape shape at 12 x 8 inches, so a narrow stretch of wall or a spot beside a doorway can hold a small piece. Measure the free width first, then pick a size about two thirds to three quarters of it.

What is the best way to hang Malta wall art?

Center the piece 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. Above a sofa or console, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge. Hang a pair with the same center height so the two share a line.

Can I hang Malta wall art in a hallway or stairwell?

Yes. Canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang; a poster does not. In a hallway, choose a piece whose width fits the stretch between doors, and keep the center at the same 57 to 60 inch height as on any open wall. Measure the wall before you order.
