Port Wall Art

Port Wall Art

Port wall art covers the places where boats tie up and cargo moves: marinas, old fishing ports, cruise ships and container yards. Pieces range from Port Grimaud and Dubrovnik Old Port to Shuwaikh Port at Dusk and Red Reach Stackers at Sunset, so you can pick a quiet marina or a busy working quay.

Marinas And Yacht Harbors

Marina at Golden Hour and Aerial Marina in Croatia are marina views, one at that hour and one seen from above. Port Grimaud Canal Scene is set on a canal in the port town of that name.

Old Ports And Fishing Harbors

Several titles name an old waterfront by its town. Old Jaffa Harbor, Skala Du Port in Essaouira, Sfax Fishing Harbor, Dubrovnik Old Port at Golden Hour and Saranda Harbor View each show one place. Essaouira is in Morocco and Sfax is in Tunisia. Choose by the town you have been to or the one you want to see.

Port Cities At Dusk And Sunrise

Valencia Port Avenue at Dusk, Groningen Port Sunrise, Shuwaikh Port at Dusk and Ushuaia Harbor and Snowcapped Mountains each carry a time of day or a mountain backdrop in the title. That makes them easy to sort: pick the dusk pieces for the hour you want, or the sunrise piece for a morning scene, or the mountain piece for a harbor under snowcapped peaks.

Working Ports With Reach Stackers, Trucks And Containers

If you want industry rather than leisure, Red Reach Stackers at Sunset and Sunset Freight Terminal Truck Scene show a container terminal. Container Ship in Harbor, Harbor Container Ship at Sea and Harbor Cargo Ship with Reflection show the ships that call there. Djibouti Harbor at Sunset belongs with them; see Djibouti wall art for more of that country.

Cruise Ships At Dusk

Red-hulled Cruise Ships at Dusk is the cruise piece: ships with red hulls at the end of the day. It is offered in landscape and panoramic, so it can stretch across a wide wall.

What Size Port Wall Art Goes Over A Console?

Take the width of the console and choose a piece about two thirds to three quarters of it. Above a 66 inch console, Valencia Port Avenue at Dusk at 48 x 32 inches covers 73 percent of the width. A larger wall behind a 72 inch sideboard takes Marina at Golden Hour at 54 x 36 inches, which covers 75 percent.

Long Port Views Over A Media Unit Or Bed

Shuwaikh Port at Dusk and Marina at Golden Hour are both offered in a long panoramic shape. Above an 84 inch media unit, a 60 x 20 inch panoramic covers 71 percent of the width and stays inside the width of the unit. Hang it so the bottom edge sits 6 to 8 inches above the unit.

Square Port Pieces For Short Walls

Port Grimaud Canal Scene and Red Reach Stackers at Sunset are also offered in a square shape. A 20 x 20 inch square above a 28 inch side table covers 71 percent of the width, which fits a nook beside a doorway. The 27 x 27 inch size covers 71 percent of a 38 inch bench.

Port, Harbor Or Cargo Wall Art

This page leans on working ports and marinas. Waterfront views of towns and cities, such as a skyline across a bay, are on harbor wall art, and ships on their own at sea are on cargo ship wall art. For ships of every kind, including sailing and naval ones, see ship and harbor wall art. For Croatia, open Croatia wall art.

How Each Piece Is Made

Every piece is printed to order once you buy it. Canvas prints are made on museum-quality canvas with archival inks and stretched over a solid wooden inner frame.

Common Questions

What is the difference between a port and a harbor?

A harbor is a stretch of sheltered water where boats can moor, and a port is a harbor with facilities for loading and unloading ships and handling passengers. A marina is a harbor built for pleasure boats. This collection includes all three, which is why the pieces range from yachts at a quay to container terminals.

How high should I hang port wall art?

Hang it with the center of the picture 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. When it goes above furniture, leave a gap of 6 to 8 inches between the piece and the furniture below. Measure from the floor to the middle of the wall space you are filling, then mark that height before you drive a nail.

Does port wall art arrive ready to hang?

Canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang, with nothing to attach before they go on the wall. A poster print arrives unframed and not ready to hang, so it is the one to choose if you already have a frame in mind. The finish you choose is shown on the product page before you order.

How soon does port wall art ship?

Delivery takes 8 to 10 days from the day you order, and shipping is free. Each piece is printed to order and shipped from within your region. If you need it for a particular occasion, order at least two weeks before, which leaves a margin for the print to be made and delivered.

Can I return port wall art?

Yes, port wall art can go back within 30 days of delivery, and you write to us first. A piece that arrives damaged, faulty or misprinted is replaced free with nothing sent back, once you send a photo of the piece and box with your order number. Changing your mind is allowed in new condition and original packaging, with a 50% restocking fee.
